Halo 3 introduced the ability to customize your armor. Most of them can be easily achieved by playing throughout the game. These Armor Permutations range from Halo: CE Armor to the much sought-after Recon.

C.Q.B. (Close Quarters Battles)

• Collect all 13 skulls

EOD

• Complete the Campaign on Legendary

EVA

• Complete the Campaign on Normal+

Rogue

• Get the Spartan Officer achievement

Security

• Get all achievements

Scout

• Get the Used Care Salesman achievement

Mark V

• Get the UNSC Spartan achievement

ODST

• Get the Spartan Graduate achievement

Recon

• Bungie Employees and Select Community Members

Shoulder

Mark VI

• Default

E.V.A.

• Complete the Level The Ark on Normal difficulty or higher

E.O.D.

• Complete The Ark on Legendary

Security

• The correct way is to get 750 G or get 30 achievements, but it can vary.

Hayabusa

• Collect 9 skulls

• Get the Mongoose Mowdown achievement

Recon

• Bungie employees and selected community members.
