Bungie are the developers and publishers of the epic Halo series which has been a hit worldwide. They're well known for their closeness to the community, namely the Halo community and humour.
History
Bungie was formed in 1991 by two students from Chicago named Alex Seropian and Jason Jones. During the early years, Bungie focused on making games for the Mac which saw them create games such as Myth and Marathon. It wasn't until 2000 when Microsoft contacted them that Halo: Combat Evolved really took off. Halo: Combat Evolved was released as a launch title and sold millions. This prompted Bungie to create the next instalment, Halo 2. This was again, a huge hit and was loved by the Xbox community. With the release of the Xbox 360 a few years later, Halo 3 was well into development and on September 25th, the ending to the epic trilogy, Halo 3, was unleashed. Unsurprisingly, it sold extraordinarily well and has cemented the Halo series down as one of the greatest games of all time and Bungie as one of the most popular gaming companies.
