The Flag is an object that may only be used in Capture the Flag game variants. Capture the Flag game variants revolve heavily around the Flag and transporting it from one base to another. The Flag can be used as a weapon in close combat situations, and is a one hit melee kill in all online playlists except Double Team. Scoring the Flag will earn you a "Flag Score!" medal, killing a Flag carrier will earn you a "Killed Flag Carrier!" medal, and killing someone using the Flag as a weapon will earn you a "Flag Kill!" medal. (Medals (Halo 3))

When on a Mongoose or a Warthog, it's always fun to swing your Flag around to show the other team what for. Just make sure you don't drop it!
