At the recent E3 convention the next Halo game was announced. The story will revolve around the hero from the first three titles, Master Chief. Halo 4 will be the start of a whole new trilogy of Halo games. The main antagonist is the Didact, but from the looks of some concept art and pictures we have it looks like the Forerunners may play a part in this new Halo. The creators have recently released a picture of a multiplayer map they developed that showed this spaceship orbiting Earth. They said that it would be a close quarters map. 343 has also announced that there will be an arsenal of new weapons and new vehicles to mess around with.
