The Plasma Launcher from Halo: Reach.

The Plasma Launcher is an lock-on weapon for both personnel and vehicles. To use it, simply aim and an opponent and hold down the firing trigger. The longer you hold the trigger down, the more rounds the weapon will fire (as evident by the circles being filled in the reticule). It will fire up to four rounds, which look similar to Plasma Grenades. Each round that connects will then explode after a brief amount of time
The Plasma Launcher works best for dispatching unsuspecting personnel, because if an enemy sees a grenade being launched in their direction, it's not too hard to duck into cover to evade the incoming plasma grenade. If, however, you manage to catch an enemy, or better yet, a group of enemies either in a small space or not paying attention, it's easy to lock on multiple grenades and take them all out in one fell swoop. Having said that, the plasma launcher comes into it's own for taking out vehicles.
Like I said, the Plasma Launcher is most suited to taking out enemy armour. Banshees, ghosts, warthogs, Scorpions, Wraiths... all fall victim to the power of the plasma launcher. Again, though, it's best to try to catch these vehicles when they're moving at their slowest. The grenades are easily avoided, so catching the vehicles unaware is the easiest way to rack up the chaos and secure yourself the upper hand in the game.
The Plasma Launcher can be very easily avoided if you know you are being targeted by one. By simply jumping behind cover, the slow-moving rounds will not be able to connect.
