The Heretic

The Hereic is the first Campaign level in Halo 2, it is generally a non-playable level that consists of cutscenes that tells what happened after the events in Halo: Combat Evolved. Thel 'Vadamee is seen in a court of law of the Covenant, and he is being questioned for the actions he did as a leader of the fleet that was sent to defend Installation 04, and destroy the Humans' Pillar of Autumn.

The cutscene also shows the Master Chief receiving his new upgraded armor. And next into the first playable mission, The Armory.
